The shortage of source of fossil energy is becoming more and more serious under the influence of strong growth of the global economy, limited surplus production capacity of petroleum producers and the turbulence of international situation. Electric vehicles (EV) as a new energy vehicles, has the advantage of clean, low energy consumption and so on. The World is constantly studying the relevant aspects to promote the development of EV, including China. EV industry is getting into fast growth period in China, so that charging of large scale of EV will pose inevitable impacts on power grid in the future; The purpose of this article is to explore the impact of EV charging on power system and the effective countermeasures.Here, we first introduce the current research situation, and then analyze the main influence factors and modeling methods, discusses the research status of the current EV s network modeling, analyze the influence of EV charging on grid system in detail from the aspects of the load capacity of power grid, power quality, economy and emissions of carbon dioxide and so on. We summarize the influence of the EV discharging using V2G technology through following four main points:providing ancillary services for the electric power system, matching in coordination with new energy, the efficiency of grid system, the battery’s life span and safety.We analyze the four factors which influence charging load, establish a reasonable mathematical model according to the actual situation of Beijing, calculate the electric vehicle charging load of Beijing in different periods in the future using the Monte Carlo simulation method.According to the simulation of EV charging load curve, we analyze the impact on the power system. Through the analysis of the typical power grid examples, we find that the load of power grid, voltage and line loss are adversely affected by the large-scale disordered charging behavior. And the sites of future EV charging stations are studied. Experimental results show that the closer from charging stations’access points to the power point, the smaller effect of charging load on power system.Finally, we put forward a reasonable time-sharing valuation policy to guide the electric car charging behavior of owners, to reduce the disordered charge which brings negative impact on power system.
