Along with the development of the computer technology, computer and spectroscopic techniques closely integrated, which leads to the rapid development of spectral technology, especially in the last decade, many scholars applied the spectroscopy to the diagnosis of cancer in their early stage, especially FS and FTIR spectroscopy had been widely used. But most of them were committed to study tissues and cells of cancer patients, and few of them devoted to the spectrum of the urine and serum of cancer. Compared to tissues and cells, the urine and serum is more easier to get, less damage to the body and is also more convenient for the detection. This paper mainly test all sorts of cancer patients urine (187cases) and serum (78cases) samples by auto-fluorescence, polarized fluorescence (PF), fourier transform infrared spectroscopy(FTIR), and compared to the results of urines(59cases) and serum(57cases) of normal in the corresponding test conditions. We analyzed the peak shape, peak position, peak ratios of cancer and normal samples auto-fluorescence, and also compared the P、R、η of polarized fluorescence of normal and cancer samples except peak shape and peak position, and also compared the FTIR from the spectral shape, the peak absorbance, the peak absorbance ratio of the cancer and normal samples. The analysis shows that the spectra of urine and serum have a good value in the diagnosis of cancer. From the test results of the auto-fluorescence, almost all of the cancer and normal have a significant difference, especially in lung cancer of urine auto-fluorescence, where they have a very significant difference in all parameters compared to normal. Through the analysis of polarized fluorescence, the P and R is almost always significantly different between cancer and normal in the urine and serum samples. FTIR analysis showed that there are a significant difference between cancer and normal in the spectral shape, the peak absorbance and the peak absorbance ratio, especially in serum and their parameter values are not in an interval range between cancer and normal, and the tendency of FTIR between cancer and normal is very different, and can visually help to distinguish whether one suffers from cancer. Finally, when urine was chosen as sample, we had better use fluorescent detection, because urine has no damage to the body; for serum as sample, we had better use FTIR detection, because the diagnosis accuracy is much higher.
