| Purpose: The acupoints of Zhongwan,Fenglong,Tianshu play an important role ininvigorating spleen and draining dampness,as well as promoting digestionremoving stagnated food.Through the observation on the changes of weight,bloodlipid,insulin and leptin in serum,liver cells on diet-induced obese rats withmoxibustion on these acupoints, validates the effects of advancemoxibustion,conventional moxibustion and combination of both on simpleobesity,discussion their mechanism of action.Material and method:Select72female rats, divided into six groups randomly,12rats in each group. Moxibustion were implemented on acupoints ofZhongwan,Fenglong,Tianshu.High-fat diet were feed to every group for2weeks,except the control group.From the third week,regular diet and advancemoxibustion were given to the advance moxibustion group for14days,then high-fatdiet was regain.Regular diet and advance moxibustion were given to the treatmentgroup for7days,then high-fat diet was regain,regular diet and7-daysconventional moxibustion were given from the9thweek.Control group were givenwith regular diet,after14days regain high-fat diet. Moxibustion group weregiven with high-fat diet,then regular diet and14-days conventional moxibustionwere given from the8thweek on. The total duration of experiment was60days.Observe the changes on rats’weight and general conditions, test bloodlipid,insulin and leptin in serum,and take liver biopsy for HE staining.All these statistics were analyzed using the SPSS19.0.Results:1. Compared with the control group, the weights of all rats in experimental groupswere lighter(P<0.05).2. Compared with the model group, levels of insulin,leptin,TG,CHO and LDL-C inserum of experimental groups rats were lower(P<0.05). While these indexes werebetter with treatment group rats than amoxibustion group and advance moxibustiongroup(P<0.05). 3. Compared with the model group, the level of HDL-C with experimental groupsrats was higher(P<0.05),which was higher in treatment group than amoxibustiongroup and advance moxibustion group(P<0.05).4. Compared with the model group, HE staining of liver cells shows significantlighter expression of fatty liver with experimental groups rats.The improvingeffect of fatty liver with treatment group was better than amoxibustion groupand advance moxibustion group.Conclusion:1. Advance moxibustion,conventional moxibustion and combination of both atrelated acupoints could improve the levels of blood lipid,insulin and leptinin serum of simple obese rats,thereby losing weight,so as to treat simpleobesity.2. Advance moxibustion,conventional moxibustion and combination of both playimportant roles in the improvement of high fat diet-induced fatty liver.3. Advance moxibustion,conventional moxibustion and combination of both coulddecrease weight,treat simple obesity and improve the high fat diet-induced fattyliver,by improving the levels of blood lipid,insulin and leptin in serum.4. Acupuncture preconditioning is an effective way to prevent from simpleobesity.5. The combination of them has better comprehensive effects with simple obesitythan single method used alone. |
