I Ponder About Human Existence

Dao De Jing of Lao zi,short five thousand of words, contains a valuable humanwisdom. Lao zi cares about the suffering of the people, and his Dao De Jing is areflection of social misery, an exploration of human existence, which for the humanworld beacon.Always on the Dao De Jing research on numerous, but always can only beunable to agree on which is right, public opinions are divergent. Since the twenty orthirty’s of the twentieth Century western philosophy into Chinese, then launched awestern philosophical interpretation of ancient Chinese Philosophy in terms ofacademic trend, this trend is called "reverse analogical interpretation".But with thefounding of new China, Marx theory has become one of the many historians ofphilosophy research method I philosophy, thus gives rise to a field on the Dao De Jingof morality by materialism and idealism philosophy trend term and concept evaluation,the research and interpretation of Dao De Jing only relies on the west, not reallyhighlights the Chinese own cultural tradition and cultural characteristics. I can say, theDao De Jing in the historical development process, has been a variety of interpretationand deduction, and makes research on Dao De Jing can only appear "contention of ahundred schools of thought".In this paper, based on the Chinese traditional culture and historical era of Lao zi,a text meaning interpretation to Dao De Jing of Lao zi, the aim and purpose of thephilosophy of Lao zi as the starting point, carries on the discussion to the philosophyof Lao zi, in order to see Lao zi on the profound thinking of human existence.This article mainly launches the elaboration from four aspects: the first part ismainly about the topic a general discussion about the human problems ofinterpretation and explanation, for a new philosophy of Lao zi; the second part mainlydiscusses and analysis on Lao zi’s society about the human reality, I see itsunderstanding and thinking of existence the sociality of human beings; third partmainly about the human ideal of Lao zi are discussed and explained,"natural" isthe best state of human existence; the fourth part focuses on Lao zi to human by thereality of social existence is returned to the ideal of "natural" thinking with theexploration done, reveal the function and purpose of Lao zi’s philosophy, the return of"natural" existence is the final purpose of Lao zi’s philosophy.
