Relationship Preparation And Psychological Status And Mental Status Of Adult Attachment Questionnaire

Life position is an important concept of Transactional Analysis (TA).Based on the theoretical model of life position, this research aims to explore the life position structure under the background of Chinese culture and to develop a new life position questionnaire, and to examine the relationship between life position and its parallel concept adult attachment.The research includes three parts. The first research was the qualitative study of life postion, collecting raw date by means of literature analysis, interview, and open questionnaire survey. Then the data is coded according to grounded theory. Based on these, the model of life position under the background of Chinese culture was built up, and the initial version of life position questionnaire was developed. The second part was to test the reliability and validity of life position questionnaire, using employees as subjects. After item analysis, exploratory factor analysis and confirmatory factor analysis, the reliability and validity of the questionnaire was determined and confirmed, and the official version of life position questionnaire was formed. The third part was the characteristics study of life position and the relationship between life position and adult attachment. The conclusions as following:(1) Under the background of Chinese culture, life position can be divided into four basic beliefs, that is, I’m OK and I’m not OK, you’re OK and you’re not OK, which can combine to form four kinds of life positions.(2) Life position questionnaire has good reliability and validity.(3) In employees population, the factors of gender, length of service,whether the only child, type of hometown, whether single or not have no significant influence on I factor and U factor of life position.The factors of educational level, whether have experiences,whether the leader,marital state and annual income have a significant influence on I factor or U factor of life position.As to the relationship between life position and adult attachment, four life positions are significantly different from each other in the scores of attachment anxiety and avoidance. Correlation analysis showed some correlations besides research assumptions and was not exactly supportive to research assumptions.
