Therefore, the self-timer photography has been in art creationedges in a very long period of time, until the nineteen eighties began to attract thephotography industry and academia. According to the general understanding,self-timer photography is a photographer with itself as the shot and the performanceobject, record and show a real self, self presentation. In the self-timer photography,photographers set of creation and performance of the object in a body, will himselfas "the other" to gaze through the personal point of view, with the aid of imagecommunication and transmission of self, selfs real feelings and inner world to theaudience.Drag the self-timer photography as a self-timer photography, is differentfrom simply shooting himself. Photographers use makeup, props, costumes, such asperforming a variety of artistic creation, will himself into his image, to achieve thegreatest degree of "Defamiliarization", to explain the photographers understandingof things, or to expand the scope of self identity. In order to avoid falling into the trapof narcissism, photographers from simple shooting jump out of their own creation,through the make-up and performance, in order to break through the focus on asingle view of itself, will self-general, has turned its attention to different groups andfields, find the existed inside, the true self, so as to realize the exchange ofexperiences with others and emotional resonance, make the self-timer photographymore ideas and art, to seek a wide range of social influence.In this paper, the drag self-portrait photography is a special form of art based on human concern for their own means and methods provide the fact thatmore and more possibilities, in-depth research on the self-portrait photographer athome and abroad, and select the United States female photographer Cindy Shermanand Japanese artist Morimura Taechangs last work as samples, analysis will be placedin the post-modernism in the context of gender, social culture, multiple angles,creation technique of multiple dimensions to show self-timer photography in thecurrent society in the context of Postmodernism in art expressive force and culturalcorrosion, the future development of space and possibility, in order to provideeffective reference for Chinese auto heterodyne photograph.
