Development of Morality Theory has been mature. After thoroughly investigation of morality, people found the main reason of unethical behavior is individual has his own moral disengagement mechanism, except that some subjective and objective factors affect the morality development. On the basis of Social Recognition Theory, Bandura firstly presented the concept of Moral Disengagement among many scholars. The theory refers to people’s specific recognition tendencies, they include redefining behavior to minimize the hurt, reducing himself responsibility in the behavioral outcome, and lower the sense of identity on victims’ pain. All in all, the theory mainly discusses why some people don’t feel pain after he did cruel behavior.A responsible person will be responsible for his own behavior, and he will care about family, team and society at the meantime. Is the sense of responsibility a main factor to affect the moral disengagement? If the sense of responsibility can affect the moral disengagement, we could reduce the moral disengagement through raising undergraduates’sense of responsibility.After reviewing and combing the literature, the literature review is completed. Using the questionnaire method this article selected Moral Disengagement Scale (Detert,2008) and Undergraduates’Responsibility Scale (Luo Xiangqun) as the research tool.564undergraduates in SouthWest University, SouthWest University YuCai College and Shanxi University were surveryed. The datum were collected and analyzed by Reliability and Validity Analysis, Descriptive Statistics, Independent-Samples T Test, One-way ANOVA, Correlation Analysis and Hierarchical Regression Analysis.Conclusions of this study are as follow:(1) The moral disengagement level of undergraduates is in good condition. The scores of each dimension are below average. The Euphemism Label dimension scored lowest.(2) There was significant sex difference and grade difference of undergraduates’ moral disengagement.(3) Overall, the sense of responsibility is higher. The scores on responsibility recognition dimension and family responsibility are the highest. (4) There was significant sex difference, grade difference, residence difference, China one or not difference, student cadres or not difference and major difference on the sense of responsibility.(5) There was significant correlation between undergraduates’ sense of responsibility and moral disengagement. The Hierarchical Regression Analysis indicated that the sense of responsibility can significantly predict moral disengagement.
