Geographical Names called human survival and living environment with the diversity of the terrain, and the name of the national language.This thesis is "dedicated noun+common noun "structure on collecting the Alxa natural geographic entity and to establish the basis of the database, in principle explore naming feature of these names, phrases relations and cultural connotations.There are five parts in this thesis, including text Introduction, The first Chapter, The second Chapter, The third Chapter and summarizes.The Introduction part is mainly about the situation of study for Geographical Names, concepts of Geographical Names and their respective fields, the reason for choosing, and research methods.The first chapter, according to the database of Geographical Names, divided into terrain-related Geographical names (including Geographical Names with the mountain and the plains, canyons Names), and water-related Names and plant Names, and to birds, and animals Geographical Names and other related Geographical Names, and analysis of the Alxa League Geographical Names naming feature.The second chapter mainly deals with the structural characteristics of the Geographical Names in Alxa. Taking the number of words as the standard, Geographical Names in Alxa can be divided into words, compound words, in order to analyze and explain the words structure and groups of features of Geographical Names in Alxa.The third chapter expounded Geographical names covered by hunting culture, grazing culture, a symbol of the cultural thinking, religion culture.The conclusion is outlined of the thesis.
