Reduplication is a universally observed linguistic phenomenon which is applied almost for all Turkic languages in the world. Reduplication refers to word repetition. The duplicative material can be a word, a morpheme, a syllable or simple string of consonant or vowel which may not express any particular meaning.This study is an attempt to provide a descriptive analysis for Uyghur reduplication whole article will be derived in to six chapters:Introduction, Definition of reduplication in modern Uyghur, Typology of reduplication in modern Uyghur, Presentation of reduplication in modern Uyghur, Reduplication as derivational and inflectional device, Conclusion. In the first chapter cross-linguistically review linguists investigations for definition of reduplication. In second chapter definition of reduplication in modern uyghur will be given, formal and semantic properties will be looked back separately.in third chapter we will discuss the typology of reduplication.general classifications and duplicative process will be discussed detailedly. In fourth chapter we try to present each duplication type on every word classes meanwhile take specific examples for each type explain their duplicative process and grammatical (semantic) meanings. At last we will discuss inflectional and derivational device of reduplication.
