Chinese progressive complex sentences in spoken and written language both have a high usage rate, and wide coverage, it plays an important role in the sentences logical connection. Progressive complex sentences have the logical semantics hierarchy of complex than the single sentence, there is a certain difficulty in teaching and learning.This paper aims to examine the settings of the progressive complex sentence in the HSK dynamic essay corpus and in the Development of Chinese textbook, and combined with the HSK dynamic essay corpus analyze progressive complex sentences use case to identify the progressive complex sentence in the textbooks whether have the scheduling problems in the syntax project, and extracted progressive complex sentences in the corpus to analyze. On this basis I hope can put forward some reasonable teaching proposals and give a little help to the teaching of progressive compound sentences in Chinese Teaching as a Second Language.This article accordance with the21Progressive Complex which the The Outline listed to retrieve the use cases in the corpus, and statistics the repetition frequency and the settings of the practices, use the statistical analysis and quantitative analysis methods analysis the statistical results, from the statistics data find out the relationship between the two which mentioned above. From the analysis I found that the grammar items have a low rate of reproduction, the form of practice set is not rich enough and less targeted. Progressive complex sentences bias use cases can divided into eight types:missing, redundant, incorrectly added, mistakenly substituting, the wrong order, incomplete components, component redundancy, the hybridity sentence, using the qualitative description research method to analyze the bias use case.On the basis of statistical analysis, this paper proposes some teaching suggestions about the Chinese progressive complex sentences:reasonable arrangements for the teaching order, determine the teaching objectives and points, and select the appropriate teaching methods, strengthening exercises targeted and interesting. I hope these teaching suggestions can have a certain reference to the progressive complex sentences teaching.
