For overseas students,it is difficult to master complex sentences.Chinese hypothetical complex sentences are various and are different from other languages in expression.Therefore,foreign students have difficulties in learning Chinese hypothetical complex sentences.Due to the great difference between the two languages(Chinese and Korean)in expressing hypotheses,the errors of Korean students in acquiring hypothetical complex sentences are more prominent.So this paper takes Korean students in International Education College of Liaoning Normal University as the research object.The study of complex sentences runs through three stages of primary,intermediate and advanced stages.But the hypothetical complex sentences at the primary stage are simple and easy to understand for example “If only……”.With in-depth study,the hypothetical complex sentences are more difficult at the middle and advanced stages.Therefore,this paper focuses on Korean students' errors in the acquisition of hypothetical complex sentences at the middle and advanced stages.By doing some corpora' statistical and analysis,we will reveal the error causes,and put forward the corresponding teaching strategies.According to the statistical results,we will take the hypothetical complex sentence which is commonly used and the bias rate is higher for example,and design a teaching fragment,so that we can help foreign students to reduce the errors in acquiring hypothetical complex sentences.This paper is composed of the following parts.In the introduction part,we explain the research background,the purpose and significance of the research,the theoretical basis and the method of the research.In the first chapter,through consulting a large number of books and documents,we tease out the existing research achievements on the types of Chinese hypothetical complex sentences,conjunction words and teaching.In the second chapter,we calculate the types of hypothetical compound sentences in The Grammar Section in A Grade Syllabus for HSK and the hypothetical compound sentences involved in language point explanation and exercises ofintermediate and advanced comprehensive textbooks of Development Chinese.And we point out that the arrangement of the hypothetical compound sentence in the textbook is inconsistent with the The Grammar Section in A Grade Syllabus for HSK to attract the attention of teachers of Chinese as a foreign language.In the third chapter,we analyse the errors of hypothetical complex sentences of HSK dynamic composition corpus of Beijing Language and Culture University,the corpus of Jinan University,the final exam papers and questionnaires of Korean students in intermediate and advanced language classes in International Educational College of Liaoning Normal University.Then,we sum up the types of the errors and the causes of the errors.In the fourth chapter,aiming at the result of statistical and analysis of the hypothetical complex sentences in Korean students at middle and advanced stage,we put forward the teaching strategies of the hypothetical compound sentences.In the fifth chapter,we design a teaching fragment of the hypothetical compound sentence which is in common use and has higher error rate,in order to reduce the errors.In the conclusion part,we summary the full text and point out the innovation and shortcomings of the study.
