In recent years,complex sentence in foreign teaching has been the concern of many researchers,made great progress.However,there are few studies on students' learning of progressive complex sentence,fewer on differences and similarities of different nationalities students studying progressive complex sentence.Chinese progressive complex sentences contain many inferior sentence patterns,the semantic relationship is relatively complex,and the commonness and personality characteristics are prominent.For people whose mother tongue is Chinese,the correct progressive relational sentence can be selected in a certain context,even if no systematic study has been carried out.However,for international students whose mother tongue is not Chinese,it is a difficult point to master and distinguish the progressive relational sentence.Based on the HSK dynamic composition corpus and the corpus collected from the experimental investigation,this paper counts the usage rate and error rate of the three progressive complex sentence types of foreign students in different countries and grades,and uses SPSS statistical software to analyze the data and present the quantitative results.It makes a detailed statistical analysis of the acquisition of progressive complex sentences of foreign students,and finds out the rules of the use of progressive complex sentences by foreign students.According to the theory of error analysis,this paper summarizes the types of errors in the use of Chinese progressive complex sentences by foreign students from four aspects: errors in substitution,errors in addition,errors in order and errors in omission.Based on the theory of interlanguage,this paper makes an analysis of interlanguage phenomena and causes of errors from the perspectives of the formation of errors,language communication and language acquisition process.This paper observes and evaluates the arrangement,teaching and practice of progressive complex sentences in TCFL textbooks.Based on the general rules of foreign students ‘acquisition of progressive complex sentences in Chapter 1 and Chapter 2,taking three progressive conjunctions in forward,reverse and reverse sentences as examples,it explores the teaching designand puts forward practical teaching suggestions in order to improve the classroom teaching effect.
