The selective complex sentence is a key and difficult point in teaching Chinese as a second language.By observation of teaching,we are convinced that there is the phenomenon that South Korea's senior students will make a lot of mistakes when they learn grammar. However, there is very little research devoted to this topic, especially concerning various countries.Although we can find some research related to students whose mother tongue is English or Vietnamese, there is less research focused on Korean students, giving this paper some research value.Firstly, the paper studies selective complex sentences from the perspective of "three planes",and elaborates from the aspects of definition, type, structure, basic semantics and pragmatics,to help foreign students understand such complex sentences.Secondly,we select the typical corpora from HSK dynamic composition corpus and teaching, and divide into four types: wrong addition, omission, misuse and wrong order.Thirdly,we in-depth analyze root causes of why Korean senior students make some errors by using comparative analysis hypothesis,inter-language hypothesis and input hypothesis, and summarize the causes as the negative transfer of mother tongue, target language negative transfer, the influence of learners' learning style and textbook. Finally,in view of the phenomenon of errors and causes, this paper puts forward some feasible teaching suggestions from the perspectives of teaching, textbook compilation and learner learning, and select the relevant texts of advanced composite material, making teaching design for selective complex sentence. It is the goal of this paper to provide assistance to Korean senior students in mastering the selective complex sentence, and also provide a reference for the grammar teaching of Chinese as a foreign language.
