Inside And Outside Visits

Through using the samples of color in Chinese and Western figurepaintings, the author try to find some reasons of formation thedifferences between Chinese and Western painting color, such asthe difference of social superstructure and the difference of socialideological and cultural customs. Through using two samples, theYongle muralsand and the frescoes of Duccio, Zeng Jing andRembrandt’s portraits, to analyze each specific differences of colorand feature. Ultimately, the author quoted two famous artists, XuBeihong and Lin Fengmian, both have lots of contributions tocommunicate with western countries and developed Chinesepaintings in modern time. At last, the author put forward her ownviews on how to combination the color of Chinese and Westernfigure paintings, and using the opinions to inspiring her graduationfinal works.
