Yunnan Dehong Dai Village Head That "put" Change Research

The paper is based on the custom called ’Bai’ which is a traditional custom of Dehong located in Yunnan province.Describing and analyzing the survey documents will serve as a theoretical underpinning,then use the theory and method of religious anthropology to discuss’Bai’ culture of Dehong Dai minority.’Bai’is an expression of heavily intertwined Dai people’s living,working and religion.According to the researching of ’Bai’ could get further information about cultural inheritance and social integration of Dai.Along with the change of time and space,’Bai’,as a diachronic cultural phenomenon,is swings and roundabouts in content and form.In this paper, the temple fairs called "Bai" of a year in the Namu Village of the Dai ethnic group have been thoroughly combed so that the belief systems, customs and the reflected cultural connotations and social functions can be investigated. Compare the research of ’Bai’ by author to that by others before,then analyze development and changing of this custom in recent100years.Try to forecast and analyze the trend of evolution and modernity social change of traditional culture.
