Cultural Industry Development In West China

Culture is a nation’s blood. Culture is the people’s spiritual home. With the development of global integration, the role of culture has become more and more important. Culture has become the resource of national cohesion and creativity, the competitive part of national power, and the important contribution of economic and social development. The Chinese people have an increasingly earnest desire for different forms of cultural activities. In this new historical starting point, it has significant relations to deepen the reform of the cultural system, to promote socialist cultural development and prosperity. With these efforts, we are going to realize the goal of building a moderately prosperous society, to develop socialism with Chinese characteristics, and to realize the Great renaissance of China.With the deepening of the west development and the constantly improving of the economic and social development of northwest minority areas, the cultural industry has become the northwest ethnic area’s key development factor and the most supportive industry. The contribution of cultural industry in the western region to the economics is growing fast. The cultural industry has already improved from the new emerging serving industry to the multi-level, multi-functioned economic industry. The cultural industry has become one of the key industries that must be considered in the process of the upgrade of region industry structure. Compared with other regions, the cultural industry has a different role in this region because of the uniqueness of the western provinces’ economic development and its historical and cultural background. Therefore, the comprehensive analysis of the western provinces’ present situation and the characteristics and the development of cultural industry, the seek of a universally applicable culture industry development pattern in northwest ethnic area, has certain realistic meaning and social meaning for the future construction and transformation of western region’s economy. Taking the west region culture industry development as the research objective, based on the optimization and upgrading of cultural industry structure from the perspective of the western minority regions, this paper makes a deep research on the development of cultural industry in west regional area, discusses the relationships between the culture and cultural industry, the characteristics of cultural industry development, and puts forward the mode and direction for western region’s culture industry development.
