Middlebury College was one of the first American universities to offer Chinese language courses. The Middlebury’s summer school intensive teaching model is widely used in American Chinese language programs because of its unique teaching methods.efficient teaching methods and effectiveness. Middlebury College-Beijing Chinese School was established in September2009.it is a Chinese project for long-term Chinese language learners in middle and high school classes.it offers "Experience Beijing" and "One-on-One Content Based Tutorial" as two core courses and "Business Chinese"."Advanced Speaking ".and "Popular Topics" as three elective courses.This text focuses on Middlebury College-Beijing Chinese School as an object of observation. This text will focus on four parts:student management.curriculum.teaching methods and teaching strategies.teaching evaluation. This text uses direct observation.questionnaires.interviews.and data analysis and collection methods in order to analyze Middlebury College’s curriculum. This paper is divided into four chapters.the first chapter introduces the research background; the second chapter introduces Middlebury College’s Chinese program and the development of Chinese education in America.and analysis of the project’s overall teaching method.and in addition to one-on-one content based tutorial.a full course focusing on systematic recording and analysis.analysis of teachers teaching methods and teaching strategies; Chapter three focuses on one-on-one special study courses in more detail; Chapter four is a teaching reflection.and summarizes the project and teaching management details:accurate market analysis and self-positioning.course planning.professional teaching content and language lessons.make full use of the target language environment.
