On Chinese Teaching Model Of SUFE Alliance Program

After many years'development in the field of Teaching Chinese as a Foreign Language(TCFL), great achievements and valuable experiences have been achieved in theoretical research and teaching practice. But on the other side, the teaching model is a little bit out of date, and the study of teaching model has not received proper attention. While enhancing the study of teaching model will play an important role in improving teaching efficiency and changing current teaching situation, and it will also provide significant references for the exploring and establishing of effective teaching model in TCFL.Based on related theories in TCFL, education and psychology, this dissertation aims to investigate the teaching model of SUFE Alliance Program in terms of its theory, teaching principles, teaching objectives, operating procedures, teaching strategies and teaching evaluation, so as to provide some valuable references for the reform of TCFL. In addition, some unique features that are useful in the localization of other domestic Chinese programs have been found in SUFE Alliance Program when comparing with Middlebury model.This dissertation consists of five chapters,Chapter 1 gives a brief description of the reason of choosing this topic, the objective and significance of this research and the reviews of related studies.Chapter 2 introduces the definition of teaching model and its structures and features.Chapter 3 gives detailed description of the teaching model in SUFE Alliance Program including its theory, teaching principles, teaching objectives, operating procedures, teaching strategies and teaching evaluation.Chapter 4 provides some useful references for the localization of other domestic Chinese program by comparing with Middlebury model.Chapter 5 gives a conclusion of the research.
