On The Subject Of The Interpretation Of Chinese History And Culture Documentaries

China’s long history provides ramming foundation for Documentary, the documentary of historic culture in China’s development always attracts public’s attention. After many years of accumulation and development, the documentary of Historic Culture has formed its unique style, but history or culture itself is a multiple proposition, it can make different interpretation from different angles.In this paper, I take ZhouBing’s works as example, regarding Documentary as a way to explain and express historic culture. Analyzing from three respects:state subject, culture subject, creative subject. I expound the connotation of Interpretation subject, and analyze the audio-visual language of ZhouBing’s works dialectically. Finally, I illustrate the Documentary’s narrative purpose.It’s helpful for viewers to comprehend the Documentary of historic culture, and it is also meaningful for interpretation subject to create works. As a way to express historic culture, Documentary will be accepted renewedly and accomplished once more.
