| This thesis studies contemporary book binding design, focusingon various ecological problems arising therefrom and the links proneto causing ecological problems in book design and proposing possiblesolutions. It takes the binding design of the full-length novel Archway asan example to further explore and analyze in this aspect. By emphasizingthat environment and resource protection must be paid attention to inbinding design and sticking to the principle of sustainable development,a practical and effective solution will be proposed, and the concept ofgreen and sustainably developed book binding design will be advocated, soas to promote Chinese book binding design to develop towards a healthierdirection.This thesis tries to provide guiding significance for book designers tofurther consider what perfect, harmonious, green and ecological book bindingart means according to different types of books as well as how to providethe society with natural and environment-friendly cultural products. |
