The Internet has a growing effect on the information sharing, expression of public opinion and supervision bypublic opinions, which pushes the democratization of information forward strongly. However, onlinecommunication focuses frequently on the unconventional events which go against the normal social order,standard code of ethics and spiritual civilization, and shows a feature of the crow culture of “not reporting thegood news”. Online citizen diligently muckrake, disgrace appeared, which induce the outburst of the resentmentof citizens, hypertrophic online crow culture intrigues more expressions of sadness and non-rationality.Inspect the crow culture in the online communication rationally, highly appreciate its social value and correctits unmentionable disease, which have an important theoretical and practical significance. The paper is dividedinto four chapters, introduction part introduces the background and significance of the subject as well as itsresearch status. Chapter One to Chapter Four are the main parts of the paper. Chapter One makes a brief overviewof online crow culture on the level of information content and Media Properties of the crow culture. The SecondChapter explores the subjective and objective reasons of the prevailing of online crow culture from the point ofcommunicators, channels of communication and social conditions. The Third Chapter finds the positive meaningof online crow culture, comparing with the Magpie culture of the mainstream media. The Fourth Chapter pointsout the harmful trends and the Serious social consequences it may bring from multiple levels and raises thefeasibility reference opinions in order to promote online crow culture to achieve a virtuous circle for a long time.
