In June of2012, Chinese Ministry of Culture published The Report of ChineseCultural Market in2011. This Report has been the third authorized annual reportabout Chinese Culture Market published by Chinese Ministry of Culture since2010.Again the Report showed that in the21st century, the Chinese Art Market made aqualitative leap in the past ten years, the total amount of Chinese Art Market has beenincreased from a few billion to a few hundred billion dollars. At the same time, alongwith the Chinese Art Market became more and more frequent in communicating withother countries, it has gradually enhanced the influence and let its voice be heardaround the world. In such a booming circumstance, as the sales and marketing of artin the circulation takes responsibility to transfer the artwork from producers toconsumers, more and more attention is paid to it by people. Nowadays, althoughtraditional mass art media such as galleries, auctions, brokers and exhibitions still playthe main roles in Chinese Art Market and make many contributions to the totalamount, new art media of sales and marketing has developed very quickly. Forexample, the LOFT mode can make the producing and promotion procedure together.The Internet also has artwork sold on the Internet. These new ways of sales andmarketing are not only more and more important, but also make the artwork comeinto the normal home. Based on the analysis of sales and marketing in the Chinese ArtMarket, this thesis tries to set out from the uniqueness of the art market, afterclarifying each link in the circumstance of art sales and marketing, the writer wants toanalyze the present stage of the sales and marketing of Chinese Art Market and theproblems appeared during the period of the high-speed development. Then aiming atall kinds of problems, on the one hand, combining with the particularity of the artsales and marketing, on the other hand, refer to those ordinary sales and marketingexperience, the thesis will finally put forward to several countermeasures for thetarget of healthy development of the sales and marketing in Chinese Art Market.
