On The Relationship With The Singing Voice Of The Soft Palate

The soft palate, as one of the vital organs in the mouth, playan important role during swallowing and speaking. For a singer, it is thesecret weapon to obtain beautiful sounds. The soft palate cooperate withtongue and lips to pronunciate and render tunes in singing, and they canbe freely regulated. as it were, they are the most active organs in singingand phonation. This paper is on the basis of the previous researchachievements，take the uncovered problems in previous as a starting point,analyse the influence factors of the soft palate’s regulating effects insinging and phonation, then combine the vocal music work to discuss therelationship of the soft palate and the phonation in singing. Thecharacteristic of this paper is the combination of vocal music work, andunite with my singing experience, run through the previous researchachievements in “singing” to analyse the relationship of the soft palate and the phonation in singing. The content involves singing psychological,physiological and physical factors, and the analysis of the performance ofvocal music works.
