This article discourse and research "Beipai"culture of miao people in Gaopovillage on the basis of the document literature and field ethnographic."Beipai"is aClothing elements of local women.but behind it there are a series of rituals of "SheBeipai",which form an important feature of the performance of miao people’s culturein Gaopo. So this article take "Bei pai"as the center. Firstly, the writer make use of thetheories and knowledge of ethnology and cultural anthropology to interpret "Beipai"and the ritual of "She beipai " and use relevant theory of symbolic anthropology torelatively in-depth discuss "Beipai" culture of miao people in ethnic culture, and toexpress the basic features of the Miao culture in Gaopo village. What’s more, in thisarticle, the writer discuss the relationship of "bei pai "culture and Two ceremonies oflife—Wedding and funeral, and reveal the specific meaning in the miao culture ofGaopo. finally, this article explain the aesthetic meaning of "Beipai" and the symbolicmeaning of pattern.The paper is composed by introduction, text and conclusion.Preface: in this part, the writer mainly introduce the aim and meaning of thesubject,the current situation of the topic,and the research method and research contentof the theme.Chapter one: In this part, the village of Gaopo,the miao people of Gaopo and"Beipai" are described on the basis of document literature,field investigationdata(characters and pictures). In addition,I analyse and interpret "Beipai "culture ofmiao people in Gaopo village and the deep relationship between "Beipai "culture andthe culture of marriage and the culture of funeral.Chapter two:In this part, the writer explain the craft and beauty of "Beipai" onthe basis of the theory of arts and crafts and the theory of symbol,and interpret thepattern of "Beipai " with the help of symbolic theory.Chapter three:In this part, the writer analyse and interpret the rural of "She beipai " using the theory of rite of passage.Conclusion:Through the analysis of the above chapters, we known,"Beipai "as the part of the dress of miao people in Gaopo, which is not only hasing the function ofthe dress, but reflecting the mark of ethnic group and the symbol of emotional ritual,and the life view and the death view of local miao people, is a material carrierreflecting the deep culture of local miao people.
