Shanghai Late Qing Dynasty Painting Language In My Work Applications

Content:Shanghai rise in the Qing Dynasty Tongzhi and Guangxu’s theme bird-and-flower painting, fresh and lively style. Shanghai school painting is a watershed painting style between the ancient Chinese painting and modern Chinese painting. The painting style which is created by Shanghai school painting inspires the thinking in creation of modern traditional Chinese painting. It creates a new form of painting that inspired the creative thinking of modern Chinese painting. By learning and making research of Shanghai school painting, its open language of painting, stone pen ink form, large-scale-painting-composition and exploration of BOGUTU make profound effects on my painting works. It also provides theoretical foundation on the painting language of my graduation work.
