With studying Chinese has become all the rage in the whole world, Chinese that the language used by the largest population has spread far and wide across the globe. Chinese international promotion is a symbol that indicates how much our country integrates with the whole world."Master of Teaching Chinese as the other Language" is promising major and set up in2007.This major cultivates specialized personnel which adapt to the international promotion both at home and abroad and has the ability to teach Chinese as a foreign language and spread Chinese culture. As a new major, MTCSOL has not formed its fixed and mature teaching model; therefore there are both chances and challenges for the universities. Curriculum design is the heart and foundation in the professional teaching personnel and it is also the center in the MTCSOL. In this paper, Shaanxi Normal University, Xi’an International Studies University, Northwest University, as the investigation objects, by doing comparative study on the design of curriculum in the universities of Xi’an, primarily discusses the existing problems of curriculum of MTCSOL and put forward the suggestions and hope to help Chinese international promotion in Xi’an.
