Error Analysis Students Use Quantifiers HSK Exam

As a character of Chinese-Tibetan phylum, measure word takes a very important part in Chinese. Even after a long period of Chinese learning, lots of students cannot use the measure word correctly, because they find it difficult to make sure which noun or verb has to match which measure word. In order to find out the situation about the learning of the international students in Chinese measure word, we plan to make error analysis on them. This kind of work can help us know more about their practical problems in the learning of measure word. All our research is based on the writing part of the HSK advance.This text is made up of five parts. The first chapter introduces the informant and the objective of the survey. Based on the measure words of grade A on "the Outline of the Chinese Language on Lexis and Chinese character", I investigated and studied the example sentence on the HSK corpus on the internet, and searcher all these53measure words of grade A in the HSK corpus. After all this work, we summarize all the error examples in four category, which are using extra measure words, lack of measure words and using wrong measure words. It comes to an inclusion that biased errors are resulted from many causes, such as the negative transfer from the mother language and the target language, and the influence of the learning strategy. Considering about the different mother tongues of the overseas students, we may find out suggestions based on their different nationalities. In the final, some teaching methods about measure word are tried to put forward. The researchers and the Chinese teachers can not only make efforts on the language study itself, but try their best to find out new effective teaching methods as well, find different characters of different studying periods, introduce some cultural background of measure words and make contrast between measure words in Chinese and in other languages, in which ways we can improve the Chinese teaching.
