My Isamu Noguchi

"When I face nature stones, they start talking to me, Once I hear their voices I give them just a bit of a hand, Recently I don’t have to carve to polish that much"Japanese-American Isamu Noguchi (1904—1988) was the most famous sculptor in the20th century. Isamu Noguchi once said,"I like to imagine the garden as the space sculpture". He devoted his life to shape the land outdoor via sculpture. This paper will discuss the artistic creation of Isamu Noguchi that influenced his whole life via the language of the sculpture. It will talk about sculpture of Isamu Noguchi from the perspective of a sculptor; his outstanding landscape architecture projects will be deemed as the amplification and continuation of the sculpture. We will show how his thinking dimension goes to the architectural landscape design from the angle of the sculptor. The paper will discuss the core and value of art of him via the monomer sculpture language and the processing of materials.
