Donizetti Concerts Study Six Art Songs

Domennico Gaetano Maria Donizetti，Italy composer, was born on Noverber1797and died on1848.His father is a worker. Donizetti created hundreds of greatworks during his life. Donizetti created more than193art music,75operas,28cantata,and so on. The feature of Donizetti’s compositions were with colorful contents, he hadleft behind him a Plenty of magnum opus that were worth to be explored and studiedseriously.The first chapter introduces the the master pieces vocal music and art songs inhis life time. Chapter II describes Donizetti’s art songs from the lyrics, music creation,features a general description and have a simple classification. Chapter III analysesinstances of the six songs which further reveals the artistic value of Donizetti’s artsongs. The chapter IV discusses the grasp of the Donizetti’s style of art songs andtechnical skills. It is my wish that my study will be of practical meaning to Donizetti’svocal pieces and hopefully, my study sill be of some help to those who singDonizetti’s artistic songs.
