Folk Songs Influence In The Western Television Transmission

It has been a long history since the folk song of northern Shaanxi became a kind of western movie music in China. There are many movies that succeed in applying the folk song of northern Shaanxi. The film’Life’made in1984was the first one. The folk song ’Going West’used in the film successfully portrayed a misery picture of going west because of natural and man-made disasters. The same year film’Loessland’also helped flok songs spreading and its theme song’Daughter’s Song’cleverly combing with specific scenario carried on the deep reflection to the fate of the old women, such as Cui Qiao, on the Loess Plateau in China. Film music is an important composition element of film. It can highlight the emotion, make film more dramatic and foil film atmosphere.This paper selected the film’Red Romance’as an example that folk song of northern Shaanxi is used in western film. The first part simply summarizes the loessland cultural background of Shaanxi. The second part introduces the teleplay outline of’Red Romance’, describes the folk songs in the teleplay and discusses their interaction and integration. Through the folk song art of northern Shaanxi, the third part shows the prospect for the future cultural carrier of the modern outlook of film and television. The folk song of northern Shaanxi in the western film and television has extremely rich and emotional characteristics, and it makes the western film and television have more in-depth exploration of the inner worlds of the characters and more tension for the characters’emotions.We find that the combining of the folk song of northern Shaanxi with the western film can greatly increase artistic charm of the film. In the future development, we must continue to take our national culture as the kernel of cultural undertakings and extrude national characteristics to promote the development of film career.
