The Western film of China, Have occupied extremely important position in the history of Chinese film with its unique Aesthetics style and features, but in recent years, the influence of the Western film disappears gradually. In the face of the new film situation, the Western film of China faces the brand-new transition. This text plans to set out from the aesthetic angle of North Shaanxi folk song in the Western film, carry on the discussion of a certain degree to the Aesthetics law of the Western film, thus seek more possibility for the development of the Western film.The article is divided into three parts which are preface theory, this theory and conclusion. The preface theory has mainly introduced the purpose and meaning of this subject research, Current situation of studying in subject, Scheme and measure of studying in this subject, Main content of studying in this thesis and Contents such as institutional framework, etc. The main body of this article mainly divided into five Chapters. Chapter two introduces the appearance, development and current situation of North Shaanxi folk song in the Western film, which has make brief introduction to three Western films such as "Ren Sheng", "Huang Tu Di "and the"Huang He Yao", that employ the North Shaanxi folk song typically. From Chapter three, it is the subject part of the article, mainly probe into the aesthetic function that brought by the North Shaanxi folk song produce in the Western film from four respects. Chapter three: The North Shaanxi folk song in the Western film embodied strong historical-reconsidering meaning. This part mainly analyzed the philosophical meaning brought into the Western film by the North Shaanxi folk song through the deep historical deposit of which .Chapter four: The North Shaanxi folk song in the Western film shows strong local color, national characteristic and deep cultural explanation meaning. Chapter five: The North Shaanxi folk song kept an eye on the individual (the Inner world of the Western peoples) and endue with loveliness of the human nature in the Western film. It mainly discussed about taking care of individual and loveliness of the human nature from North Shaanxi folk song to the Western film at four respects which conclude the pursuit of the beautiful emotion, the free yearning and pursuing, the announcing of positive personality strength and the excavating deeply of human nature .Chapter six kept an eye on the romantic characteristic of North Shaanxi folk song and it's rich esthetic connotation, and the part try to prove that the North Shaanxi folk song make the Western film more watchful.At last, there is the final part, in which the author summarized the aesthetic contribution of North Shaanxi folk song to the Western film, and proposed the ponder and forecast about the combination of the Western film and North Shaanxi folk song.This article occupying of innovation to: Making the study by putting the North Shaanxi folk song, the gem of the folk-custom in the Western film, the representative of Chinese national movie. Thereby the study is multidimensional, which involves the film aesthetics, folk music and ethnology at three aspects. Therefore, this disquisition has multiple academic values.
