Dunhuang grotto art has attracted artists including history scholars invested inresearch. Therefore, the data of research are abundant relatively, conclusion are lessrelatively. Based on the predecessors on the basis of the Sui Dynasty, the reason forthe choice of the frescoes in Dunhuang as the subject, because of this period was onthe west wind style to the Han culture influence, formed with local characteristics,without losing the art characteristic, also plays a role in the development period to theSui and Tang dynasties.This thesis aims to integrate early Dunhuang (sixteen countries to the NorthernZhou Dynasty) frescoes as much as possible with the formation characteristics andmanifestations, including space, the description of the object, purpose, backgroundand other factors on the Dunhuang murals and Buddhist grotto art brought by theconstraints, but not only in the creation of the language itself out. The full text isdivided into six chapters, basically described on the five points mentioned separately,in addition have related with the western religion frescoes painting, which can befound in the common. We all know: Art without borders! Which is the charm of art.
