With profound culture, it nourished numerous civilian passengersand also developed into the typical local culture Hui Zhou Culture.Fromdifferent point of view, a great number of writers narrate the legendry life of HuiZhou.Li Ping yi is one of the great writers, who focus on different aspects ofHuizhou. Thus the art world of his novels has its own style.The thesis centers on the works of Li Ping yi, of which studies from the pointof macro and mirco, horizontal and vertical. On the one hand, the thesis mainlyanalyses the panorama of his works.on the other hand, the thesis explores the valueand meaning of his work against the context of history of contemporary literature.The first chapter is devoted to the research findings both at home and abroad,the value of the thesis, the object of the thesis and so on. And then introduces thelife of Li Pingyi and his works so as to analysis the panorama of his arts.The second chapter centers on the study of the folk custom of his works fromthe perspective of ethnology, trying to show different flavors of pictures of HuiZhou. First of all, try to explain the reason why Li Ping yi describes the folk cultureof HuiZhou. Because he holds the position of folk literature and his unforgettableexperience in rural areas.Secondly,try to draw the outline of folk image in his works from theperspective of material life, spiritual life and beliefs.
