| Using language is an essential basic ability of a person. The students will move from school to work sooner or later. Especially for the party and government members, school and the clerks in the service industry, it’s a basic quality for them to speak Mandarin and use standard Chinese Characters. However, the ability in using Chinese language for our college students is a concern now. The survey indicates that the percentage of the college students whose writing ability is barely acceptable is12.3%.70.4%of people are unsatisfied with the language expression abilities of the college students. Our proficiency in Chinese language ought to be enhanced urgently. Professor Chen Changlai, vice-president of the College of Chinese Studies at Shanghai Normal University, expresses concern about the practical application of Chinese of the contemporary college students. He says, the situation of the abilities of using Chinese for the college students, especially the non-Chinese majors, is not optimistic. For example, the phenomena such as incoherent sentences in written language, words which fail to convey the meaning, too many wrongly written characters, wrongly used punctuation, are prevalent. He once assigned40students to dictate20common idioms. Consequently half of them scored0.With the rapid development of Chinese society and economy, and the promotion of our international status, the world’s nations attach greater importance to developing the friendly cooperative ties with China. Chinese language has become an important part of international communication. Recognizing this problem. China started to implement the promotion work of Chinese in the world from2005. So, in face of the new situation and new requirements, all kinds of colleges need to transform the model of personnel training, produce innovative ideas. relocate training objectives, constantly update teaching content, reform teaching methods and measures, and so on.The vocational education should consider not only the demand of students’ living, but also the demand of their future career. With the completion of the China-ASEAN Free Trade Area on January1.2010. which covers1.9billion citizens. possesses a GDP of US$6trillion and a trade volume of US$4.5trillion, China-ASEAN Expo has attracted50.6thousands visitors and exhibitors in2011, and the accumulated turnover of which reached1.807billion. There are105signed international cooperative projects and a gross investment of US$7.42billion, growing10.86%from the same period last year. The construction and development of the free trade area and the international thoroughfare increase demand for the foreign trade staff, which on one hand provides a good chance for the vocational college students, on the other hand, is also a great challenge.According to the concrete requirement of the talents needed in all areas by ASEAN countries, it brings forward new demands to the vocational college students in Guangxi. On the basis of the solid foundation of the language and specialist knowledge, students should continuously exercise their practice ability, can quickly meet the demand of economic cooperation and cultural exchange between china and ASEAN countries, and have the professional Chinese capacity in the fields of business, tourism, translation, administration, cultural transmission, Chinese-teaching, etc. The vocational colleges in Guangxi should be committed to fostering interdisciplinary and applied internationalized Chinese talents who can meet the demand of economic cooperation and cultural exchange in all areas between china and ASEAN countries. Based on the higher professional Chinese capacity and the specialist knowledge, students should have strong practical ability, adaptive capacity, and comprehensive quality as an international talent.The vocational education in Guangxi should train the talent who can adapt to the new changes, that is, professional Chinese capacity. The paper tries to discuss and explore the structural pattern and current situation of the ASEAN-oriented professional Chinese capacity training, with the example of enterprise reception. The research subject is the professional Chinese capacity training of the vocational college students in Guangxi. Some students were picked out to be interviewed. Firstly, the issue of professional Chinese capacity training is discussed at the theoretical level. Secondly, through the analysis of the current situation of the vocational college students’professional Chinese capacity in Guangxi, and based on the questionnaire, the paper tries to find out the objective reasons of the formation of the students’ professional Chinese capacity. Finally, the paper analyzes and discusses the specific measures to be taken in the practice of the ASEAN-oriented professional Chinese capacity training for the vocational students in Guangxi, from the training objectives and principles of the professional Chinese capacity to the building of theory model to proposing the ways of promoting.Through the investigation and research to the professional Chinese capacity among the vocational colleges in Guangxi, the paper makes an objective analysis and comprehensive evaluation, and finds out the existing problems and the formation reason of the professional Chinese capacity among the vocational colleges in Guangxi by knowing the current situation of it. The paper particularly finds out the disparity between the students’ Chinese capacity and the social needed professional Chinese capacity in order to set the goals and principles of the professional Chinese capacity among the vocational colleges in Guangxi. Combining the development of the students’ professional skills, this paper discusses training strategy of the students’professional Chinese capacity among the vocational colleges in Guangxi every way such as the teaching orientation, the curriculum design, the developing and using of textbooks, the organization and delivery of teaching, the evaluation mechanism, and so on. The purpose of the research is to explore a new idea of the combination of Chinese teaching and development of the students’ professional skills at the vocational colleges in Guangxi. In this way, it can provide real service for the graduates and their all-around development, and supply better services to the China-ASEAN Free Trade Area by putting the Chinese capacity into students’ professional capacity.
