Dmitri Borisovich Kabalevsky (Dmitry Borisovieh Kabalevsky1904-1987) isthe former Soviet Union famous composer, pianist, music educator and social activist.In view of love for the music education of the Soviet Union, many of his works aremade for young people, most of these works is filled with youthful ebullience,endowed with vitality and educational significance, and is very helpful for theyoung people to learn music.The research object of this thesis is Kabalevsky "Third Piano Concerto"(op.50).Unless further instructions, the "Third Piano Concerto" below refers to Kabalevsky"Third Piano Concerto"(op.50). This piece of work and the other two concertosKabalevsky make up "for the young people of the Soviet Union as" Concerto series.This work was created in1952, when Kabalevsky’s creation has been graduallymature. As a work made for young people, Kabalevsky takes the form of concerto,and it is kind of challenge for children’s to cooperate when they play. In this piece, ituses his famous "three pillars" of theoretical ideas. It combines the theme of dancingstyle tem, singing style and march style. This will help the young people to enjoydifferent style when they play, and will make this work more enjoyable for youngpeople.This paper consists of three parts. The first part is the introduction, the mainreason for choosing the subject of this paper, significance, the status quo of this studyworldwide, and research mentality etc.. The second part is the main body of the paper,in which the first chapter outlines Kabalevsky’s life, works, and his contributions.Thesecond chapter analyzes the music ontology of the "Third Piano Concerto", includingthe creation of background analysis, thematic analysis, harmonic analysis, tonalitylayout analysis and musical structure analysis.The third chapter is the performanceanalysis on this piece, Based on the rational analysis and the author’s playing on thispiece, it helped me to gain emotional understanding on sound skipping, legato playingand touch tone key insight. In the last part, the author makes a brief summary of thisarticle, summed up her for Kabalevsky "Third Piano Concerto" from study to studythe dribs and drabs, hoping to have some help for the descendants of the awarenessand understanding of the works.
