His interesting inyoung people and devotion to music education has resulted in books and articles, as wellas widely used pedagogical works including Children’s pieces, Op.27, Twenty-FourLittle Pieces, Op.39, and Five Sets of Variation, Op.51.Many teaching materials inbeginning to early intermediate levels include Kabalevsky’s accessible and imaginativepieces from these collections. In comparison, his advanced works are rarely performed inconcerts or used for teaching among educators.This research focuses on one of the neglected works by Kabalevsky, Preludes,Op.38.The objective of this research is to provide a stylistic overview and an analysis forteaching and performance.Throughout the study of domestic Kabalevsky’s point of view, research is stillsignificantly less than its prelude, attention is also not enough. Both the lack of24preludes overall combing artistic features, each of which is also a lack of analysis of thefirst works of musical skills.
