The island nation of Japan claims to have “eight million gods", the quantityof the different forms "monster "is same as Japan ’s " god " quantity. InJapan, the “monster “means unknown things and phenomena. Japanese monstercomes from China, but the history changes, and humanistic thought is processing,the “monster” is constantly newborn and evolution. In recent years, this“monster culture boom” affects Japan and even for the world quickly, and for"monster culture"in Japan, we know and understand few about it. Japan hasvarious period of " monster " development and evolution, for example:" Hyakkiyakoushou"," monsters sorrow " and other elements are signs the Japanese "monster culture", and some Japanese monster artist use of a large paintingsince ancient times, the "monster scrolls “is paintedby other traditionalJapanese painting techniques the author portrayed, this thing becomes abeautiful landscape of painting. This paper seeks to outline the Japanese "monster culture" of the various contexts, analyze diverse "monster culture "in the various elements of the development trend.At the same time, I hope mypainting can get the essence from the "monster culture" in Japan, and I cancreate more better paintings, and know how to explore and dig out Chinesecharacteristics " monster " system, making"monster " stripped out from theoriginal feudal superstitious ideas, let us have our Chinese "monsterculture"in the future way.
