Horror Fiction And Horror Purification

Terror is not only a mysterious and profound emotions in human society, but also the art of creating a prolonged theme. But the people in reality always trying to reject terror while in the world of art, horror movies, horror novels are pursued and admired by humans. So waht kind of characteristic horror fiction has and how to get people purified in the entertainment? This paper take horror fiction as an example, analysed and explained the horror fiction and it’s purification, trying to explain the admiration from the perspective of spiritual purification of horror fiction.The first chapter of the article explained what is terror and it’s features, controlling forces and links between terror and horror fiction. The second chapter,analyze the concept of "I" and "no I" in horror fiction while introducing the concept of "Ⅰ’.Analyzed the entertainment of horror fiction from horror fiction and the recipient of horror fiction and define the entertainment comes from its distance with reality.The third chapter is based on Aristotle’s "purification" to analysis the purification of human and human society that horror fictions causes.The innovation of this paper is to draw up the results of previous scholars, combined with Western aesthetics’ researchs, provide a comprehensive explanation of horror, and thus distinguish the different areas of horror in the field of art and life. Secondly, illustrated the entertainment of horror and the effect it produced in the art. Finally, summarized the effect of the entertainment of art of terror(horror fiction).
