Traditional Chinese Painting Material Exploration And Use

In the development of world cultural diversity of today, how to inherit and develop China painting has become the focus of the art circles. What is the attribute of Chinese painting? Where is the charming of Chinese painting? The author will clarify these issues via "unbounded Gu Kaizhi’s painting rhyme Rang" and his related studies. The opinion of author is that if people want to make some innovation and development in Chinese traditional painting, the first important thing is to make efforts to inheritance and then we should innovation and development on the basic of hold a good grasp of Chinese traditional painting techniques that has a realistic significance in current. However, material of the traditional Chinese painting is a special part of Chinese painting’s attribute, because of it, Chinese painting presents a unique artistic charm.Therefore, as for materials of traditional Chinese painting, reasonable use of silk, paper, color and other natural materials, tools, techniques, makes the visual aesthetic China painting art effect is more obvious; creative, in the design of "unbounded" composition and the content of painting, pay attention to the use of artistic expression, artistic conception and art acceptance of the relevant theoretical knowledge, followed their China traditional view of the universe "nature round place","same virtue of heaven and man" and "man" feeling, hope to depend upon the gene of Chinese traditional culture and modern thinking mode, use the ancients’symbol of painting to create own painting, establish painting content for two parts of reality images and symbolic images--scenes and characters of Guqin and their corresponding expression, human and nature harmonious and unified artistic effect.This article is the author’s practice of using traditional Chinese materials on painting with exact delineation and enriched colors during the period of master in Capital Normal University. Especially on visual aspect, the exploration of traditional Chinese painting materials and the summary of this experience are in order to inherit and make some innovation.
