"Du Fu Explain" Research

At the end of Ming dynasty, the study of Du Fu’s poetry is thriving. The Annotation of Du Fu’s Poerty by Lu Yuanchang is one of the excellent works, Qiu Zhaoao puts a high value on it. It is a pity that it’s value isn’t focused on by nowadays.This paper based on punctuation and collation, aimed at analyzing these questiongs: First, Lu Yuanchang’s lifetime and his origin of study Du Fu’s poetry. Second, analyzing the style of the book. Foregoing researcher mainly discussing the specific matters of each part. I want to talk about the relationship of each part so that they can be seen as whole. Thirdly, introduce the characteristic of The Annotation of Du Fu’s Poetry. It includes inter-verification between poems and history records and quating common saying, Zuozhuan, and Zhouyi to explain poetry. Besides, it also use the psychological interpretation to elucidate the poetry. Under the method, listing a mass of examples to strengthen the viewpoint. Fourthly, hold the poet from the annotation of the poetry. Last, discussing the succession, the original ideals and the shortages.
