Chinese Translation Practice Report HRSG Equipment Specification

In recent years, with the development of the society, most people find thatenergy-saving equipment is an inevitable trend. The Chinese texts of HRSG OperatingInstruction play more significant role in the filed of military production and living use.In order to combine the foreign design priciples of HRSG with the current domesticeconomic situation, the English-Chinese translation of HRSG Operating Instruction isespecially important.This translation practice report is based on the author’s translation of HRSG forTrinidad and Tobago CCPP Operating Instruction, which includes the introduction,research and summary on procedure and completion of the task. By comparing thedescription of the different stylistic features in both English and Chinese HRSGOperating Instruction，it focuses on translation of the instruction and summary oftypical examples in HRSG Operating Instruction by using the translation theory ofparallel text and the translation skills such as method of literal translation, conversion ofpart of speech, lexical amplification and omission, structural analysis, translation inoriginal order, variety in translation, splitting, etc. in order to accumulate usefulexperience for the translation of HRSG Operating Instruction.
