International trial, as established by the international community for internationalcrimes, the protection of human rights institutions, the establishment of theInternational Criminal Court in the process of the development of internationalcriminal law has an important historical significance. Leipzig trial from the FirstWorld War to the Rome Statute formally adopted, after nearly a century of time.Among them, the post-World War II Nuremberg Tribunal and the Far EastInternational Military Tribunal as an important case in the historical process of theInternational Criminal Court, have an important impact.The paper studies the question of the jurisdiction of the court. Consist primarily ofpersonal jurisdiction and the case was under the jurisdiction of two aspects, involvingthe principle of personal responsibility and a crime against peace, war crimes,violation of humanitarian crimes three types of crimes. Reference and Developmentof the Rome Statute on the jurisdiction of the contents is the provisions of the Charterof the two Tribunals. And then analyze the mode of action of the two Tribunals, thefusion of common law and civil law litigation mode, this mode of action contribute tothe smooth progress of the international trial, the International Criminal Courtultimately chose mixed mode of action experience. In addition, the article also fromthe legal basis, the penalty content and implementation of the three parties of the courtverdict. More thorough trial and execution of the Nuremberg trials, and the TokyoTrial thwarted and destruction, the liquidation of war crimes is not thorough enough,is the lead left over after the Second World War and one of the reasons.Finally, the paper reiterated the historical significance of the Nuremberg Tribunal forthe Far East International Military Tribunal. These two courts are not only World WarII fascist crimes, but also the beginning of the peaceful development of the post-warinternational community, opened the international law, in particular internationalcriminal law, a new chapter.
