Public Crisis Microblogging Propagation Mode Management Challenges

Micro-blog, as a new type of media, is developing rapidly in our country. Since2009, the clients have reached274million after a few years, and nearly200million messages are released daily. As more and more community groups begin to use micro-blog, micro-blog gradually develops into the most dynamic platform for information dissemination and public opinion field in China. However, different from traditional media, the usage patterns of Micro-blog make it easy to breed rumors and spread rumors rapidly of fission type, which pose a new challenge to the prevention and treatment of public crisis triggered by rumors. Nowadays, China is undergoing social transition, and various social contradictions highlighted. As a leading public opinion platform, the sound development of Micro-blog, is not only conducive to purify the internet environment, but also related to the stability and development of the society. On the other hand, the micro-blog gradually derivative a platform for the public interest demands. When public opinion demands converge continuously through micro-blog, and the government failed to control public opinion and rumor, it often leads to the outbreak of social emergencies, and then the government faces a confidence or power crisis. As a result, in response to the trend of micro-blog, do not hide or avoid, and involved in exploring the use of micro-blog actively, are important parts to strengthen and innovate social management for the Government. Surrounding the generation of rumors and the spread of rumors in micro-blog, the thesis focuses on the use of micro-blog function and mode of transmission, analyzes the relation between micro-blog and public crisis management from several aspects, such as theory, reality, technology, and then propose corresponding management approach. This paper can be expanded logically as follows:Firstly, we describe what micro-blog is, and summarize the history of micro-blog and the characteristics of micro-blog, which result in the rapid development of micro-blog.Secondly, we analyze the characteristics and dissemination of public crisis, especially, the gaming relation among the government, the media, and the public in crisis communication, which set a foundation for the program of the micro-blog public crisis management.Thirdly, we place emphasis on analyzing the mode of transmission of micro-blog, and analyze technically the three modes point of multi-mode, virus propagation mode and interactive dissemination respectively. Be familiar with the law of the flow of information in a micro-blog environment, which can provide technical support for public crisis, which are induced by micro-blog rumors.Fourthly, understand the current situation and problems of China’s micro-blog public crisis management with specific cases, and provide a basis for further improvement of the management. Lastly, based on the lack of public administration of micro-blog, we propose some coping tactics, which has practical significance.
