The Analysis Of Political Identity Of Chinese Intellectuals From1949to1956

The year from1949to1956is the most critical years that China transferred from New Democratic Society to Socialist Society. People’s political power which was built under the leadership of Chinese Communist Party faced the scarred and battered situation that the old society had caused. It’s a tough problem for the Party and government to manage the various society resources, but the problem needs to be solved immediately.Intellectuals, as the backbone of our state construction and development, share the common features of being aloof, are concerned about the events, being critical and dedicated. And in the first7years of China’s foundation which is so particular, the time had endowed them with new characters. Because the intellectuals represented the social consciousness in the spiritual world and shoulder the heavy social responsibilities, they were fond of standing in the public opinion with commanding status to advocate their academic claims and indicate the tendency of social development. In the practical field, the intellectual, influenced by the preconceived opinions, were going to put these opinions into practice. Even more, some students were capable of manipulating the social development. They made use of the reasonable supports and emotional trust which they got from the people aiding to turn their personal willing into the state’s willing. Therefore, it’s significant for the Party and government to push the social construction forward smoothly and efficiently which depends on whether they can get the political identity from intellectuals.Owing to the complicated background of intellectuals, some of them belong to democratic party, some are interparty, and the others had been to overseas, the limited span of my paper and related historical materials can not cover all the cases, so I am going to take an effort to analyze the common qualities of intellectuals as the basis of my research, with a combination of intellectuals’connotation and characters, and the selection of intellectuals in history. Then the relation theory is built according to the three different layers which are superior politics, involving politics and secular politics, it is based on the intellectuals’particular time. Under the simplified variants and three logical layers of shorter time span, the essay probes into the idiomatical links of political identity for the interaction between subjective and objective bodies, those links affect the regular patterns and causes of intellectuals’transition on political identity and obtain modern enlightenments from them.
