This paper explores the ethnic identity,national identification and political party identity by analyzing the trend of ethnic identity and national identity in Taiwan.The author also considers two main problems:First,why is the ethnic identity and national identity of Li Denghui beginning? Dramatic changes? 2.Why is it that when the majority of the people agree with the people of Taiwan and are inclined to maintain the status quo on the question of reunification,the political parties have clashed fiercely in the election competition? In order to answer these questions,the author also from the political sociological theory and historical point of view,that the political figures in order to maximize personal political interests as the goal of operation,the national identity problem and ethnic issues are not as the previous scholars assume that the height But in the competition of political parties formed by the political parties to identify the indirect link.I further from the perspective of political competition,that the political parties as a prerequisite for the election to adjust the ideology and the use of negative campaign strategy,making the community of ethnic identity and national identity although aharmonious,but in the political level of competition has caused conflict.We use the structural equation model combined with the investigation of data using content analysis to verify the above assumptions.The results show that the causal relationship between national identity and ethnic identity is not significant under the control of political party.In other words,even from the perspective of electoral competition,ethnic issues and independence issues are not directly related to the beginning,but through the blue-green camps and competition between the indirect correlation.
