As the oil in the field of energy resources is increasingly reduced and non-renewable, natural gas as the green and clean energy as well as low carbon is becoming more and more popular. In the next30years, whether in industry or in civil life, natural gas will replace oil to play an important role beyond imagination.Based on the analysis of Chinese natural gas industry operation status, a detailed comprehension expounds Chinese natural gas industry such as regulations system, government regulation system, pricing mechanism and so on, thus it is concluded that the natural gas industry in China has loopholes in the presence of regulatory.Natural gas market in China belongs to junior phase, government regulation is not very mature. In the face of the regulatory legislation blank of natural gas industry, the government overrule of the enterprise management and the unreasonable price make the regulations construction of natural gas industry imperative. Based on the actual situation in our country as a starting point, using the experience of the mature American and British gas regulation,the author puts forward some suggestions towards the regulatory reform of natural gas industry in China.Through drawing lessons from foreign advanced supervision mode and regulatory experience, to put the government regulation in place, to make the market open and fair to the enterprise, we must have perfect law system to according to. According to law, we can not make market pricing system relatively perfect if the government regulation does not reform. Introduced a unified regulation of natural gas industry, therefore, we can make the development of gas industry necessary and healthy.
