Since modern times, with the foreign economic power of smallholder economy damage and impact from the political power which based on force to the bottom of social order, China rural society increasingly split and China’s vast rural society has become the corner which is forgotten, the country gradually being marginalized and continued to decline. Therefore, various political forces and various factions are trying to change this situation and revitalize rural society, in order to win the people’s support.After the outbreak of Anti-Japanese war, under double pressure of civil war and class struggle, the CPC had carried out extensive and in-depth social education movement in the Shensi-Kansu-Ningsia Border region. This was the Chinese Communist Party who leaded mass illiteracy movement in the northwest loess plateau and was the comprehensive social mobilization in the Shensi-Kansu-Ningsia anti-Japanese base areas. It not only promoted the social reconstruction and the final victory of the Anti-Japanese War, but also achieved the greatest degree of recognition and acceptance by the majority people on the moral concept, ideology and various specific policies which advocated by CPC. A historical review of the social education movement which carried out by CPC during the Anti-Japanese War in the Shensi-Kansu-Ningsia Border Region, it not only has the important theory significance, but also has the profound practical significance.This paper is based on the practice of social education movement which carried out by the Chinese Communist Party during this period, putting the development of the social education movement in the social mobilization of the framework, and a systematic analysis of the historical impact from "top-down" and "down-top" perspective, summing up the pattern and path of social mobilization in rural, with a view to provide reference for the Chinese Communist Party in the new period of social mobilization.This paper is divided into introduction, body and conclusion.The first part is "Introduction". It is mainly a brief introduction to the topics of reason, research significance, research ideas, and necessary discrimination of the social mobilization, social education and related concepts, to improve the scientific and precise of articles’ demonstration. The second part is the main body, including the second, third, fourth and fifth chapter.The second chapter:The background of space-time on the social education movement in Shensi-Kansu-Ningsia Border Region during the period of Anti-Japanese war. This chapter gives a brief introduction on the development of natural and social ecology of the Shensi-Kansu-Ningsia Border Region, pointing out the background of social education movement; Secondly, this chapter focuses on the historical origin of "social education", including the theoretical origin of it, the early recognition and practice of CPC on social education and the reason to carry out social education movement in the Shensi-Kansu-Ningsia Border Region.The third chapter:The development course, the form of organization and the basic characteristics of social education movement in the Shensi-Kansu-Ningsia Border Region. This chapter mainly discusses the following questions. First, the development stage of the social education movement. It experienced the "comprehensive popularization" stage from the outbreak of Anti-Japanese War in1937to the end of1940, the "old type regularization" stage from early in1941to the end of1943, and the "civilian-run and state-subsidized" stage from the beginning of1944to the victory of Anti-Japanese War; Second, the form organization of the social education movement, including winter schools, clubs and the mass Education Museum, literacy organization and other forms, and conducting analysis of these forms, characteristics and realistic influence. Third, sum up the shapes and basic characteristics of social education movement, such as the hero of labor movement, health and science movement, new yangko dance movement etc.The fourth chapter:The historical role and the response from the lower area of social education movement from the perspective of social mobilization. This chapter is the core chapter of the thesis, from the perspective of social mobilization to a far-reaching historical influence of social education movement. It consists of two parts: the first part is in the framework of social mobilization, from the perspective of "top-down" to analysis the historical influence height fusion of social education movement on the new cultural value and concept of construction, the establishment of rural social relation network, the high integration of people’s life space and political space and changing the existed habits and customs etc; The second part analyses three attitudes of different classes towards the socialist education movement and their mutual influence from the perspective of "down-top". The fifth chapter:The CPC mobilized in the social education movement and path. This chapter analysises mobilization and path of the social education movement mainly from two aspects.The third part is the concluding remarks. Mainly as a brief summary of this research, pointing out the deficiencies of this paper, and putting forward of the research field to this problem, in order to study deepen and systematic in the further.
