Chinese Government Supervision Of Charitable Organizations

Philanthropy as a supplement to the social security system is an important factor for the improvement of social security system and the decrease of the gap between the rich and the poor. Charitable organizations as civil subject of charitable activities, is also an important participant and promoter. In recent years, the market economy continues to improve, and charitable organizations have made a certain progress, which shows an increasingly prominent role in the charity. However, due to charitable organization’s own limitations and inadequate government supervision towards the charitable organization, low credibility, difficult funding fundraiser, chaotic management and poor operational mechanism appeared as the development of non-governmental charitable organization. Charitable organization needs regulate and orderly development. To strengthen government regulation towards private charitable organizations is undoubtedly an important way to regulate the development of non-governmental charitable organization, is the protection of a healthy and orderly development of China’s non-governmental charitable organizations. We research on the government to strengthen the supervision of non-governmental charitable organization, in order to provide a useful reference to strength governmental supervision towards charitable organizations, further enhance our social service capacity of charitable organizations and promote the development of the whole philanthropy.
