| As one of the basic forms of educational practice, Ideological and PoliticalEducation has always been highly regarded in various countries of the world. Hu Jintaoexpounded the socialist core value system in the report of CPC18thnational congress,and Xi Jinping discussed the extreme importance of ideological work on thepropaganda and ideological work conference in August this year, which highlights ourCPC leaders’ high attention and expectation on the education of values and ideology,and that is the synonym of Ideological and Political Education. However, in the currentdeep and wide-ranging social transformation of China, it is urgent to make Ideologicaland Political Education further innovated, which can help stick to the main front in theideological field and make the socialist core value system deeply rooted. Closelylinked to the professional direction, the main content of the paper is the innovation ofIdeological and Political Education in the contemporary social transformation of China.Firstly, this paper discusses the impact and challenges that Ideological and PoliticalEducation is confronted with in the current social transformation, and then respectivelydiscusses the innovation of Ideological and Political Education from theory, content,methods, carriers and so on, with different research method in every chapter.
