Soil is one of the essential parts to make the world’s eco-system,and it is a verycrucial resource in natural world. To human beings,it is the material basis that we can’tlack of,which, makes it take a vital role in the development of our society. With therapid development of industrialization and urbanization. The pollution in soil isbecoming more and more serious, as a result. it affects our country’s economic and thehealth to its people. It’s a pity that the related laws to prevent soil pollution is not yet soperfect, and most of them are principally formulated. It would be certain that that kindof laws can not meet the need that our soil really needs. In order to make it better, wemust strengthen the effort to prevent the soil from being polluted. And the mostimportant thing is to make a breakthrough in law.This article uses comparative and dialectal analysis to be the research method, andmakes research in the kinds of soil pollution, the present state of our soil pollution andthe related laws as well as the laws from developed countries. By researching the kindsof soil pollution, this article expounds the bad effect the soil pollution may bring. It alsocombines our country’s soil pollution to introduce the importance of preventing our soil,at the same time, makes a deep research in the laws aimed to stop soil pollution. It findsout what we really need to do and what we might not paid attention before. Apart fromthat, this article also focuses on the current state of soil pollution law in the US, Japan,The Great Britain and Germany. On that foundation, it points out what we should learnfrom the developed countries to protect our soil. Last but not least, this article give ussome suggestions to the laws, and the purpose is to make our pollution laws entire andperfect.This article gains a conclusion that when compares to developed countries, it is nodoubt that we have a long way to go in pollution laws.In the light of that efficiency,theauthor would make the follow suggestions by drawing lessons from the above fourcountries: first of all, we should make sure the purpose of making related laws and itsprincipals, then we should make a sound system and update the standard of pollution.Last but not least, we should know that the economic part is the main part, and makemore people involved can make the information more transparent, thus can we makeuseful laws and regulations. It is noticeable that nowadays more and more experts payattention to the pollution of farm lands while the author pays more emphasis on urbanpollution, and puts forward the conclusion that prevent urban pollution is just as important as country pollution.
